*** At BuyfromGroovy, we want happy, satisfied customers who would always be pleased to shop with us again. We want our Customers to be delighted with their purchases for many years to come and to always feel they received excellent value and service from us. To promote this end, we do our best to identify any and all flaws or defects in our listed products, as such exist. We believe strongly in the WYSIWYG principle. What you see IS what you will receive from us. All products sent to you are exactly the same as the ones pictured and described in our listings. We make NO! substitutions ever, period. The pictures in our listings are worth 1,000 of our words and form the single greatest part of the item descriptions. For this reason, we recommend customers ALWAYS review each of the posted photos, making use of the ZOOM! feature to enlarge the image and see the item(s) close up in the greatest available detail. We believe viewing each of the photos and zooming in on them (particularly with china and ironstone pieces that have a tendency to craze and/or fade over time) ultimately helps to ensure the item(s) you receive will meet your personal expectations.
*** PLEASE NOTE: We CANNOT and DO NOT guarantee vintage items listed in the shop were owned and used in their lifetimes ONLY by non-smokers. While all items are washed to the best of our ability and dependent upon the item itself (i.e. we CANNOT wash some items like board games and books), the smell of nicotine MAY, nonetheless, still be present. This nicotine smell, if present, will typically fade over time, but please take note of this when deciding to make a purchase from the shop. ***

IN ALL CASES, board games, jigsaw puzzles and VHS tapes are sold AS IS. We do our utmost to identify any shortcomings or flaws, as such exist. Parts and pieces are inventoried and the status is typically stated IN CAPS at the top of the listing. Games are checked for COMPLETENESS AND COSMETIC APPEARANCE ONLY, NOT! functionality.
Board games and puzzles tend to show their age with time. Many times, people may wish to return them simply because, once received, they decide they are not "as new", may even smell of smoke or may have parts that are worn or operate slowly perhaps from prior use. It should be understood being "as new" would rarely be the case for vintage games and puzzles and we cannot guarantee the prior owner was a non-smoker!
MINT: NO! chips, nicks, cracks, crazing, fading, marks, stains, or scratches. Usually refers to an UNUSED item such as old store stock.
EXCELLENT: may show MILD! crazing, a fleabite, MINIMAL! fading, or edge wear. Defects will be stated in listing
VERY GOOD: item has NO! cracks, but may have nicks, MINIMAL crazing and or edge loss (where applicable) or fading. Defects will be stated in the listing.

All items are listed individually and the price shown would be for a quantity of ONE (1), unless otherwise stated (i.e., SET of xx, PAIR of xx). Sometimes, BONUS! items are provided and where a BONUS! item is included, it will be referenced in the listing. Photos may show more than one (1) of the same item if more than one (1) is available. This is done to assist buyers, allowing them to see each of the available items to assess their quality and/or appearance given that they may receive any number of the shown items, depending upon the quantity ordered. We provide as many photos, normally, as space permits.
Some companies | people list the diameter of a plate or saucer with the INTERNAL FLAT MEASUREMENT, others with the EDGE-TO-EDGE measurements of the plate or saucer. We typically measure from edge to edge and will then indicate if the piece has a coupe shape. This can lead some to believe the diameter of the stated plate or saucer is different than that which they are trying to match. Usually, this perceived disparity in the stated dimension is the result of this edge-to-edge versus internal flat measurement of the piece. If in doubt, DO! feel free to drop us a conversation and we will be pleased to verify the actual dimensions of the item for you against that which you are trying to match.
All BuyfromGroovy sales are conducted online. Local pick-ups are welcome and are always FREE! of charge and in fact, we will provide a 20% refund on the total price once the item(s) are successfully picked up. This refund will be 20% of the total price paid (excluding any taxes).
For local pick-up, we ask Purchasers to complete purchases online, through Etsy, and then drop us a message, providing 48 hours notice of intended pick-up date and time. This way, we ensure your item(s) are ready for you to collect upon arrival. ALL purchase transactions are conducted through Etsy check-out meaning there are NO! COD transactions available. This provides the Purchaser with Etsy Buyer Protection as the sale is conducted through Etsy.
