This is the Canadian bilingual (English and French) version of the game with all written words appearing in both Official languages of Canada.
THIS GAME HAS BEEN INVENTORIED AND IS 100% COMPLETE with original instruction booklet.
Game overview: Let's Be Safe is an 80's children's board game about safety and developing good safety habits. Typically, kids might have played this with their parents, or at school with other kids and their teacher. It provides a fun, yet educational experience. Game play consists of spinning a spinner and moving your player token that many spaces along the board. At this point, the player will pick up a "situation card" that discusses a safety issue. Players will discuss the item and try to "guess" the right answer. At some point, the "solution card" for the situation is revealed and whoever gets the right answer spins next. Game also involves card matching, which helps kids improve their memory skills. The game actively encourages discussions about safety between kids and adults.
Game rated for ages 5 to 8 years and up to four players, boys and girls. Game is meant to be played with children and their parents.

Game and box Condition: in EXCELLENT! and complete condition, this game comes from an elementary school where is was gently used by teachers as a teaching aid for younger students. The "Parent's Guide" pamphlet was previously taped to the bottom of the box. There is tape residue to the side of the booklet most notably to the French side and some leftover tape residue on the inside base of the box and on the side panels. Box shows MODERATE! shelf wear with NO! split, torn or broken corners. There is LIGHT! wear | rub to the box corners and edges and a few LIGHT! blemishes to the box fabric. Box text, which appears in both English and French, is clear and legible and box graphics are bright and vivid with MINIMAL! fading apparent. All cards are clear and legible and card imagery is bright and vivid with NO! fading apparent. Cards are in EXCELLENT! overall condition with NO! ripped or torn cards and NO! dog-eared corners. (please review each of the posted photos for a complete visual of the game components and box). The original box insert is here which includes another set of Game Rules and an endorsement from Joan Lunden.
Very rare find for 1980s game - great for collectors - in fantastic condition overall.
